What Are The Risks Of Sticky Aortic Valve And Some Blockage In The Coronary Arteries?

I am 87 yrs old and have been diagnosed with a sticky aortic valve and some blockage in the coronary arteries. I am in otherwise good health with a type 2 diabetis that is under control with medication. Open heart surgery has been advised. What are the risks ?

Considering your age there is always a risk for any surgery . But as you don't have any other comorbid conditions, you can tolerate the open heart surgery upto an extent.

But there are always risks and benefits both for any procedure.
