What Are The Side Affects Of Humalog Insulin During Menopause?

Has anyone reported any side affects of Humalog Insulin during menopause? I am starting to feel extremely low and confused when my blood sugar is 70 but I have symptoms closer to 30. I had open heart surgery 2 years ago also and need to take LASIK and Plavix along with Lipitor, Ramapril, Carvedilol and Metolazone.

Thank you for following up. Side effects usually occur due overdose of insuline or diet problems. The most common side effect is Hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar. Symptoms of low blood sugar is like as before faint: headache, nausea, tremor, trouble concentrating, confusion, hunger, confusion, drowsiness, weakness, dizziness, blurred vision, fast heartbeat, sweating, or convulsions. If you feel like this you should immediately drink glucose capsule(25%) or drink sugar syrup or 25% glucose solution.
Injection site reactions (such as pain, redness, irritation, lipodistrophy) may occur. For prophylaxis of theseffects persist you should change place for injection .
Sometimes we observe low potassium level in the blood. If you feel muscle cramps, weakness, irregular heartbeat then check your potassium level and eat food reached potassium(carrot, potato and etc.)
Take care!
Wishing you a good health
