Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach upset, headache, dizziness and hair loss are commonly encountered side effects. Moxifloxacin is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. This medication belongs to a class of drugs called quinolone antibiotics. Nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, weakness and sleep disturbances are common side effects that may occur. Not all subjects who take these medications will experience these side effects. Many of them do not experience any of the above mentioned side effects at all.
