General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Adderall is composed of combination drugs containing four salts of the two enantiomers of amphetamine. It is a central nervous system stimulant of the phenethylamine class.

It is used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Loss of appetite, weight loss, dry mouth, stomach upset/pain, nausea/vomiting, dizziness, headache, diarrhoea, fever, nervousness, and trouble sleeping may occur as side effects.

If any of these effects persist or worsen, you need to consult your doctor promptly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashakiran S, General & Family Physician
