What Are The Side Effects Of Anastrozole?
I was on this anastrozole for 5 yrs. i have been cancer free for 6 yrs. my docter requested me to stay on it for another 5 yrs. the side afcects as i remember were not good, but i did it. MAIN question ! what are the side affects, please and thank you!

Anastrozole used in the treatment of breast cancer in post menopausal women is known to cause the following common side effects: fatigue, hot flushes, joint pains, osteoporosis, increase cholesterol level and diarrhea.
Some of the side effects mentioned above can be prevented like osteoporosis, increased cholesterol by suitable medicines.
