What Are The Side Effects Of Azoran On Developing Fetus?

What are the side effects of Azoran 50 mg on developing foetus? I am 36 yrs old woman and I am an ulcerative colitis patient since 3 years, Now I am pregnant for 6 weeks and 4 days. I am takins azoram 50mg,mesacol 400mg ,folvite,rabium 20 everyday so I want to know is it produce any side effect to foetus or I will abort? Please give me your best suggestion.

well azoran or azathioprine should not be taken during pregnancy...it increases chances of abortion....its effect in developing fetus that is the teratogenecity is not well known....so go to your doctor for replacement of this medicine...
however, mesalazine or mesacol, folvite and rabium are safe to be used in pregnancy....you can continue taking them as directed....
