What Are The Side Effects Of Bactium DS?

Hello,
Last night I began taking an antibiotic SMZ/TMP (or Batrim DS) prescribed to me to clear up an infection in my left arm. I have a had a rash for over 7 days on my left arm that started with two insect bites in the middle of the night. My doctor looked at my arm and couldn't tell whether it was an infection or a blood clot. I believe it is an infection because the rash has gotten paler and is no longer itching or swollen but seems to be fading away. Just to be sure, she wants to rule out a blood clot possibly and I am having a d-dimer test done on Monday.
I have severe anxiety and get panic attacks. I was worried by the idea that a blood clot was a possibility and I was worried about taking this new medicine Bactrim DS. Last night after taking the medicine I began feeling a dripping feeling in my chest and down my neck. I have been feeling this same feeling all day long. It feels like a cold liquid dropping down inside my chest. It's the strangest feeling.
I called a pharmacist to ask if this is a side effect of the Bactrim DS. She said she had never heard of that side effect. She just didn't know. I wanted to know if the dripping feeling in my body could be due to the medication or is this something that happens with people who have anxiety/panic attacks? I want to know if I should continue to take the Bactrim DS to clear up my infection in my arm. Your advice would be much appreicated.
