What Are The Side Effects Of Copper T IUD?

I am looking to delay a period. I am due within the next two to three days. I have a copper IUD and not currently on birth control pills. After some research online I see that Norethisterone can be prescribed to delay a period but I am wondering if I took birth control pills Ovranette (Ethinylestradiol 30 micrograms, levonorgestrel 150 micrograms) which I have from having previously been on it, would it have the same effect, would it be safe to do so, how many would I have to take to get enough progesterone to delay it etc. etc.
