What Are The Side Effects Of Copper T IUD?

I am an expatriate planning to go for vacation and wife inserted Copper T since one week and complaining pain on lower abdomin inside also feel pain at end of vertibra. Is this common. The copper T was supplied by Govt. Clinic and 10 yrs life. Is the pain common? Does she require treatment or replacement of copper T? She is Porphirea patient too.
