What Are The Side Effects Of Depo Provera Injection?
Hi! I am on the Depo Provera shot and a few weeks ago I had to take a Plan B pill. Shortly after taking the pill, I got my period, which I haven t gotten since I first started using the shot, and it s lasted about two weeks and counting. I desperately need my period to be gone by this Friday and I ve heard of taking Ibuprofin and other tricks but what do you suggest I do to get rid of it?
I am little concerned regarding your taking Plan B medication while you were on Depo Provera shot as the shot is used for contraception only.
However, taking Plan B has changed the hormonal balance in your body and thus it has chanhed the menstrual cycle and you got periods when you were not expecting it.
In addition, we can delay the periods before their arrival and can induce it when missed, but we can not stop the bleeding once it has started unless it is related with some disorder or is uncontrollable. Taking Ibuprofen will not help in stopping the bleeding as it just a painkiller.
