What Are The Side Effects Of Diazepam And Panadeine Forte?

I am currently taking Lovan 80mg and Marvelon and have been prescribed panadine forte and diazepam can you tell me if there are any adverse reactions to this? I wouldn’t be taking all of them at the same time but at different times in the day. Thank you

Taking Diazepam drug together with Panadeine Forte (which contains opioid Codeine) that also cause central nervous system depression can lead to serious side effects including respiratory distress, coma, and even death.

Your doctor may be able to prescribe alternatives that do not interact, or you may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring to safely use both medications.

While taking Lovan drug along with Diazepam and Panadeine Forte (Codeine), it may increase drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, motor incoordination which may result in falls and injuries. Hence, these medications should not be taken together.
