What Are The Side Effects Of Doxycycline And Lactic Acid Bacillus Capsules?

HI, I got a diagnostic laproscopy done on April 29, 2011. And today my doc asked me to take doxycycline & lactic acid bacillus capsules, cause I have stiches on my navel & hip bone since the laproscopy. I s there any side effect to this tablet that I should worry about.... or even any food restrictions??
