Hello,

Duphaston is synthetic progesterone used to regularize menstrual cycles plus other conditions. Side effects can be irregular periods, breast pain, pulsating headache, bloating, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, hypersensitivity, weight gain, weakness, and skin rash. But by and large it is well tolerated. If your gynecologist has asked you take it for 5 days, than stop after that. Period invariably occurs in about a week’s time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prabhakar Laxman Jathar
