General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Ecosprin (Aspirin) in low doses of 75 mg is given in pregnancy to improve their circulation in the placenta and to prevent clotting of blood, which could eventually lead to miscarriage. Basically, ecospirin is a blood thinner and that helps in supplying blood and thus nutrients to the growing baby.

Only side effect which is experienced by many is gastric irritation. This can be overcome by taking the medications after food and use of liquid antacids when necessary.
Kindly take the medication as prescribed by your doctor and do the necessary follow-up as advised.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
