What Are The Side Effects Of Eltroxin?

Good day , I have been taking eltroxin 100mg once a day for 8 years now. Recently I questioned if this dosage is correct or not, I sometimes experience anxiety and I have read that the eltroxin could cause this . Recently I cut my dosage in half . How does a doctor know what the correct dosage is?
