What Are The Side Effects Of Epoetin Alfa Injection?

My boyfriend is annemic and has injected epo into his muscle 6 days ago and now he has a headache on the right side of his head nausea and his head pounds harder when he stands up. This has been going on for six days. He has and been taking tylenol but it isnt working. What do you think it is?
