What Are The Side Effects Of Itraconazole?

I am takiing Itraconazole 100 mg 2 capsules a day. What are the side effects. I seem to be belching and gassy which are usual for me with a little interjestions in my chest. I usually get this way when I take large medicines which are not caplule. I was wondering if the Itraconazole is the cause of my uncomfortable gs effects.

Hi,
What you describe are some of the rare side effects of Itraconazole. It is not the case for you to get worried. These symptoms may persist even for some days after you have finished the treatment. If they last for more than a month and they give you discomfort, then I would recommend you to see a GI doctor.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Wish you good health.
