What Are The Side Effects Of Microgynon?

Hi, i've been taking microgynon continuously since i started it (about 7-8 months ago?) and i'm spotting at the moment. However, i also have a pain in my lower abdomen - could that be because of continuous use or will it just be my IBS (i've been suffering quite horrible from constipation the last month or so anyway)?
