Hi,
Odefsey is a prescription medication used to treat HIV-1 infection. It does not cure HIV-1 or AIDS. It is a combination of 3 drugs namely
emtricitabine, rilpivirine, & Tenofovir Alafenamide.
Common side effects of Odefsey include: depressive disorders,
sleeplessness, headache, nausea, drowsiness, dizziness,
abdominal pain and weight gain.
You need to seek medical attention promptly if you notice:
1. symptoms of jaundice namely yellowing of your skin or the whites of your eyes and passing dark-coloured urine
2. signs of
lactic acidosis namely weakness or tiredness, unusual muscle pain and breathing difficulty
3. symptoms of allergy-like skin blisters, mouth sores and redness or swelling of the eyes (
conjunctivitis)
4. signs of depression or mood changes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,
