What Are The Side Effects Of Otoflour?

Hi i am a hearing impared person, using hearing aid. have been advised otoflour so that my hearing does not deteriorate further. I have not seen any help from it even after using it for 6 months. Are there some side effects of otoflour as well. Kind regards.

Hi,

Otoflour is helpful in one particular type of hearing loss that is otosclerosis which is usually age related. Common side effects are related to gastric disturbances etc but those occur at early dosing incidences, and if it's not the case then it's less likely to recur with long term use. You can continue it and get fresh otolaryngologist review and latest audiometry results to look for any progression in hearing loss.
