What Are The Side Effects Of Plavix 75 Mg?

I am 66 years old, 5'4", 170 lbs. I take Plavix 75 mg and get reddish purple spots on my hands and arms only. Some of them actually puff up and may bleed. They are not painful at all - just ugly and annoying. Is this the result of the Plavix; if so, is there anything that can be done? Thank you so much.
