What Are The Side Effects Of Prednisolone Eye Drops?

I am an 85 years old lady. I had cataract surgery on the 9th march with IOL implantation. I have been prescribed prednisolone eye drops. I had history of TB in the lungs, duodenal ulcer and herpes zoster. My doctor is away on a tour abroad and I am unable to reach him. The eye drops produce severe headache and bad taste in mouth. Is it ok for me to continue the same drops? I am to have the drops 56 times a day for the next one week then reduce to 4.
