I am considering An IUD for birth control. I am 48 years old and have two children. I am not going to have any more children. I talked to my doctor and she recommended Mirena. I see Mirena has progesterone. What are the side effects of progesterone?

You can go for the copper intrauterine device (IUD) or Mirena IUD.
Mirena IUD contains progesterone, it releases progesterone very slowly and in a smaller amount. So doesn't have any major side effects.
