What Are The Side Effects Of Ramapril?

hi I am type 2 diabetic and my doctor has prescribed ramapril for my kidney function I also have had back surgery and had some nerve damage to my bowel function. I now have a lazy bowel I started the ramapril on Tues this week and now have not had a bowel movement since then my stomache is extremely bloated and lots of gas and the pain is high around my midlle and a pain in my back i didnt take it yesterday but am wondering if i shold just continue I also took metamucil yesterday but no movement so far
