What Are The Side Effects Of Ramipril Tablet?

I have been on Ramipril for just over a week for high blood pressure and have been retaining fluid since the first couple of days. This is gradually getting worse and today its in my face. I've been told to stop the Ramipril as this might be an allergic reaction. Beta blockers don't work for me as they lower my heart rate to the 30s and 40s. I had an ablation done about 10 yrs ago. I am worried that I am running out of medicine options to treat my high blood pressure. Do you have any suggestions? And if this is an allergic reaction is it something I should wear an allergy bracelet for?
