What Are The Side Effects Of Retin A?
I bought Retin A 0.25% while in Mexico as a wrinkle treatment. The insert was in Spanish... The pharmacist there told me to use at night and be careful of the sun. Are there other side effects I should be aware of? Thanks for being there. I wasn t aware there was a fee

Retin-A Topical is composed of 'Tretinoin'. It works by affecting the growth of skin cells. You need to take certain precautions while using this preparation.
Wash your hands before applying this medication. Gently clean the affected skin with a mild or soapless cleanser and pat dry.
Use your fingertips to apply a small amount of medication (about the size of a pea) in a thin layer, once daily at bedtime.
This medication may make you more sensitive to the sun and hence you need to limit your time of exposure to the sun. You may develop sunburns or have skin blisters/redness.
A brief sensation of warmth or stinging may occur immediately after applying the medication.
Skin dryness, itching, scaling may occur during the first 2 - 4 weeks of using the medication.
These effects usually decrease with continued use. A daytime moisturizer would be helpful if you develop an excessive dry skin.
Use this medication on the skin only. Do not apply to the inner lip area or inside the nose/mouth.
Do not apply to cut, scraped, sunburned, or eczema-affected skin. Strictly avoid getting this medication in your eyes.
