What Are The Side Effects Of Clindamycin?

I have had the diarrhea for the last nine days. I had been prescribed Clindamaycin 300 mg. I was taking when it started. could this be the cause? I am a 48 year old male. No health problems until this. I was given the Clindamyacin after cutting my hand with an axe.
