General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The risk for serious allergic reaction applies to all drugs, so it is not specific to clopidogrel and you may develop this with any medication you may use.

I would recommend you to take clopidogrel if your doctor has recommended it to you and just monitor yourself for any signs of bleeding (bleeding gums, urine, stools, skin rash, bleeding nose, etc) or symptoms of an allergic reaction.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
