What Are The Side Effects Of Emergency Contraceptive Pills?

I had to take a "morning after" pill, it is called Plan B One Step, with high levels of a hormone called levonorgestrel (a progestin). I am 39 years old and would like to have children very soon, just this particular month this was not an option... My question: I feel the side effects of this pill already (nausea, strange unpleasant tingling sensations in my throat, weakness, dizziness). Aside from the "spiritual" issues of the subject, are there any health remedies for the complications after taking Plan B One Step. Conventional doctors say this medication has no health risk and adverse health effects, it is a one time only "in-out" medication, after my period I will "feel the same again". As someone who has practiced ayurveda for a little while and yoga for 12 years, I just sense that this might not be true...
