I had to take a "morning after" pill, it is called Plan B One Step, with high levels of a hormone called levonorgestrel (a progestin). I am 39 years old and would like to have children very soon, just this particular month this was not an option... My question: I feel the side effects of this pill already (nausea, strange unpleasant tingling sensations in my throat, weakness, dizziness). Starting next month, I am actually going to be trying to freeze my eggs so that I can in the future have a child, even though currently there is no right or willing partner (current partner does not want children). Aside from the "spiritual" issues of the subject, are there any health remedies for the complications after taking Plan B One Step. Conventional doctors say this medication has no health risk and adverse health effects, it is a one time only "in-out" medication, after my period I will "feel the same again". As someone who has practiced ayurveda for a little while and yoga for 12 years, I just sense that this might not be true...
