What Are The Side Effects Of Epididymitis Treatment?

Hi was diagnosed with epididymitis a good while ago. Had antibiotics which cleared infection. Was sent for an ultrasound later as left testicle shrank to 1/4 of its size. Was told no cancer there but testicle would unlikely recover. Any ideas why it shrunk so much and why it will not recover to its original size? Many thanks

Hello dear,

Thank you for your contact to health care magic.

I read and understand your concern.

I am Dr Arun Tank answering your concern.

You must be having a severe epididymis infection.

Severe infection can cause irreversible damage to the epididymis. As happened in your case.

Usually once damaged this epididymis never recurr. So in my advice you should leave the hope of recovery.

But you can become father if your second testicle is working and non damaged.

So in my advice you should not worry about damage of epididymis of one side and use the second epididymis for your work.

I will be happy to answer your further concern on bit.ly/DrArun.

Thank you,
Dr Arun Tank
