What Are The Side Effects Of Eplilim?

My son has been taking 300mg slow release Eplilim twice a day for 3 months, prescribed for mini seizure Eplilepsy. Has deteriorated in last 6 weeks with increased drowsiness, nausea and general lethargy which has increased. Suggested there could be intolerance, bloods show level of drug is OK - thoughts?
