What Are The Side Effects Of Exposure To Spray Paint?

I was using spray paint and I assumed with 3 windows open it was ventilated enough, but when I was done I had a fine mist of paint on my skin and my nose hairs were white. Do I have anything to fear or will I be fine. I don t really have any symptoms except I keep wanting to bring up phlegm

Hi,

I wouldn't make a habit of it.There are acute bad effects from it. These would be immediate and obvious. There is also risk of liver damage, lung damage, probably an increased autoimmune disease and cancer risk BUT those are not going to happen from ONE exposure unless it occurs IMMEDIATELY after the exposure. The chronic effects from many, many exposures will show up later.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
