What Are The Side Effects Of Exposure To Spray Paint?

I just painted the inside of my kitchen cabinets. I sure didn t think it through. I apparently breathed in a lot of paint spray dust. My hair and skin have a film of white, the hair did eventually lose the white paint and the skin looks ok. My fear now that i see everything in my kitchen covered with at least spray paint dust..... The bottom of my bare feet are quite painted . Is there something i can do now to counter the breathed in paint spray?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I understand your concern. I hope you were using a mask while spray painting and that in the future you refrain from this kind of DIY and hire a professional to do it.
If you experience eye, nose and throat irritation and a skin allergic reaction or feel dizzy, short of breath and coughing, you should seek medical help immediately.
In the mean time try to clean and ventilate well your place by keeping all windows open and wearing a mask while you clean.

I hope this helps.
Wish you all the best
