What Are The Side Effects Of Having High Dose Of Chemotherapy?

Does a high dose of chemo. Effect your muscle. My husband legs and arm hurt in the muscle and bone. What can l do to help this to get better. He had a high dose of chemo last wed. I am going to him back to doctor this wee if he is not better. I just want to if chemo drugs do this and what I can tell wed whin I take him nick to the doctor think you mary

Understanding your concern. As per your query you wondering side effects of having high dose of chemotherapy . Well there can be many side effects of chemotherapy like fatigue ,pain ,mouth and throat sores , diarrhea , nausea and vomiting . It can also affect muscular system and muscular system . Some chemo drugs can cause pain, weakness, numbness, or tingling in the hands and feet (peripheral neuropathy). Muscles may feel tired, achy, or shaky. Reflexes and small motor skills may be slowed. It’s not unusual to experience problems with balance and coordination. I would suggest you to consult your doctor and discuss the condition with him . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute .
