What Are The Side Effects Of High Doses Of Cortisone?

I got diabetes from a doctor who refused to hospitalize me after contracting a iolent asthma attac in a transoceanic plane ride on a Pan Am flight that allowed. He decided to cure me Withou hospitalization, by giving me massive doses of cortisone. It is my understanding the cortisone affects the cells by not allowing inline into the cells until massive doses of insulin force their entry. Is this curable, or is it forever?

Cortisone reduces infection and inflamation.
It also increses weight, sugar level, some mental problems.
Cortisone dose should be reduced properly.
