What Are The Side Effects Of Implanon?

I have had implanon inserted since 10th February 2011. For the first 2 weeks I had very iregular bowel movement including a few bouts of diarrhea. In the past few weeks the diarrhea has settled but I am still suffering from bad cramps, wind and still the need to release my bowels at least 3 times a day. Could this be caused to a hormone imbalance? I have never taken the pill before and as a 27 year old I'm not sure if I should just get the implanon taken out.
