What Are The Side Effects Of Inhaling Spray Paint Fumes?

HI, my 9 year old son got ahold of a can of spray paint and nearly emptied its contents, and no one knew until 30 minutes later. He has viral induced wheezing, uses an albuterol inhaler, has multiple food allergies, and now this! what are the side effects of inhaling spray paint fumes?

Hi Dear ,

Understanding your concern. As per your query your son have accidental inhalation of spray paint fumes which contains polyurethane which is toxic. You should be very careful about it. There are several harmful substances used in paints, depending on type of paint being used such as volatile organic compounds, known as VOCs, which are cause of bad health of child.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to wash face properly with plenty of water and keep on inhaling fresh air. If any symptoms occurs consult doctor without any delay and get complete examination done and start treatment accordingly because condition sometimes become complicated.
