Glycomet Gp1 contains glimepride 1mg and metformin 500mg in sustained release form. This medicine has hypoglycemic drugs & no steroids.
Its a good combination for treating Type 2 diabetes mellitus. It can have side effects like Nausea, Hypoglycemia, Metallic Taste but these side effects are also less as compared with other hypoglycemic drugs
Long term usage is also well tested with no major effects on liver & other vital organs. So continue with this drug if blood sugar remains normal.
