What Are The Side Effects Of Low Blood Sugar Level?

I'm not diabetic that I know of, but I just had blood work done and my blood sugar was 56 (about an hour after eating). My doctor referred me to a rheumatologist based on high anitbodies. . .is the low blood sugar related to mixed connective tissue disease (what she thought was causing the anitbody count)?
