What Are The Side Effects Of Marijuana For Both Partners?

my partner and i want to start trying for a baby. I have given up marijuana for almost 2weeks now how long should i wait till we start trying? Also, I know it will still have an affect on his sperm as he still smokes what are the chances of there being something wrong with our baby if he continues and i stop?

hello, glad to help you.
its good that you have stopped smoking marijuana. however as you told you are planning for a baby, so it would be better that your partner should also quit. plan baby at least after 4 weeks of quitting, because marijuana remains in blood for at least 28 days after last smoke.
not only marijuana but smoke of tobacco is also dangerous for the foetus, as it hampers the growth and can lead to various developmental anomalies.
i would suggest both of you to stop smoking and seek and opinion from a gynaecologist before planning a baby.
