What Are The Side Effects Of Methylprednisolone?

hi . i have taken 4 injections of methylprednisolone (steriod) to cure pain in the middle border stepula....but the pain is not cured and im suffering from its side effects like joint pain weak ligaments and chest pain....plz tell me how can it b cured.

Hi.. Apart from the gastic pain, short course of steroids do not cause side effects. Unlike long term treatment with steroids, which causes calcium deficiency, joint pains and so on.. The chest pain may be related to the gastritis and it can be treated with antacids...  However the other symptoms may be unrelated to the steroid treatment..
