What Are The Side Effects Of Micronor Contraceptive Pills?

hi, I;m 29 years old i have been taking micronor contraceptive pill for just over 4 months. i am over weight but i have been attending weight watchers to loose the weight. what i want to know is why are my periods all over the place and still heavy. Am i taking the wrong tablets for me? I was sterlised in 2007 after having my 3rd daughter by c-section. I had terrible periods since so my Doctor put me on this pill as he told me that after a couple of months my periods should stop.
