What Are The Side Effects Of Nurofen?

Hi, yesterday afternoon I developed a blood spot just below the inner corner of my left eye. It is about 1cm across and dark purply red. There is no pain and I don t have any other symptoms. I haven t sustained and injury and I m a healthy female in my early 30 s. The only thing I did differently is take nurofen for a headache (I get headaches fairly regularly and have had all my life). I didn t have my usual nurofen so I took my partners nurofen for back pain and then about 4 hours later bought and took two standard nurofen. Could this just be a broken blood vessel and how long should I wait before I get it checked? Thanks
