What Are The Side Effects Of Smoking?

I have been smoking crystal meth for the last year. I know have what I think is a chest infection, I am coughing up green/yellow phlegm with traces of blood in it. It's not a constant cough but if I take a deep breath then I cough and it feels wheezy..

Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

Chronic smoking (Nicotine or crystel meth) lead to deposition of black carbon particles in lung with smoke. It also lead to damage to lungs and cause chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) which makes lungs more prone to infections. Meth also lead to high blood pressure and pulse rate due to its stimulant effect on cardiovascular system.

COPD may present with chronic productive (with phlegm) cough with green/yellow secretions due to infection. For treatment get evaluated by Pulmonologist/Physician for treatment of COPD and psychiatrist for deaddiction.

Wishing her good health and all the best.
