What Are The Side Effects Of Steroid Epidural Injections?

If I have been diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia, should I get steroid epidural injections for herniated disc i my back? I am noticing a pattern of getting these shots in my lower back and then getting very ill, anemic, and the menstrual bleeding begins very heavy and does not stop unless my doctor gives me Aygestin to stop it. I went more than two years between getting the shots and I had no period at all. Then I got the shot again and two days later I was literally bleeding out and having an irregular heatbeat. My blood sugar is also bottoming out - the last time I took it it went down to almost 30! I see a pattern, but could I be right that the steroid shot is a problem for me? HELP!
