What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Hormone Pills?

I'm a 22 year old male and I look and sound like a 15~16 year old. I also have a weight problem witch I think is caused by metabolism. I've recently heard from a friend about hormones, can you give me more info about if they can help me and how can I get them, also if there are different types of hormones witch ones do I need? Are there any side effects to taking hormones?
