What Are The Side Effects Of The Infusion Process For Osteoporosis?

I have an appointment to start the process of infusion for osteoporosis. I am becoming concerned re he side effects - possible dental treatment that would compromise the jaw bone. I was on fosamax some years ago but had indigestive pain and stopped. I recently fell and broke my rt femir and hip and was highly recommended I go on some treatment. I need more assurance before I move forwart with treatment. Thank you, Sharon (78 years old and in very good health)

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

I believe you should have regular dental examinations. If they show any sign of a complication, just stop the Bisphosphonate infusions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen,
General Surgeon
