What Are The Side Effects Of Thyroxine Tablet?

My daughter just started taking thyroxine about a week ago. Tonight she feels like something stuck down her throat and like her gums are swollen and bright little red dots on the back of the roof of mouth.Does she need immediate attention or okay to wait till morning.
