What Are The Side Effects Of Using Femilon Tablet?
I am a 24 years old single. My doctor prescribed femilon for my stomech pain, usg abdomen shows bulky left overy. But in the booklet it is mentioned as contraceptive . Since i am not married and have no other sexual relationship am confused why my doctor advice this medicin? Does it have any side effect?. Please advice.

Thanks for the query. I have read &understood your problem.
You seem to have ovarian cyst.. which results in excessive level of hotmone... that creats the symptoms.
In such case oral contraceptives (contining hormones)are given externally.. in order to arrest extra horhomone production in the ovary
.. thus the disease process is arrested.
