What Are The Side Effects Of Using Melalite Cream Long Term?

is melalite safe for helth? last 6 yrs on wards i have using this,if i apply this means,my face color improves,if i stop one week means,my totally face color complete black,Actually last 7 yrs back,i have the face skin black color issues,so for this i consult one dermatologist, he recmonded melalite XL along with some another creams,tablets...said some instructions...as like apply in night with another cream.. it showing good result...so i continuely using this cream last 7 yrs...if i stop to use...my total confidence gone...so please recomend me nice suggestions...and is this one will create any issues in future...

Malalite cream contains hydroquinone. Hydroquinone is a skin lightener used in many whitening creams. It is a very effective skin whitener. It inhibits melanin production which is responsible for dark coloration of our skin. Hydroquinone not only inhibits melanin production to help lighten skin, but long term use can actually damage your pigment cells. Hydroquinone has some carcinogenic effects (cancer causing agent) when applied to skin for long time.
Other side effects on long term use include increased skin sensitivity to sun light and leathery skin.
Advice
1.     Stop using Melalite cream for long term
2.     Apply Elovera cream at bed time. It will provide some whitening effects
